1980's

Our Roots

SecureID Badge Supplies traces its roots back to the early 1980s with New England Security, which began as a building security and access control installer.

1990's

Expansion into New Markets

Partnering with New England Security, Ashdown Technologies launched BadgeBuilder® in the early ’90s—the first Windows-based software for creating ID badges, which became an industry standard.

2000's

Merging Technology & Service

In the early 2000s, Ashdown acquired New England Security, merging BadgeBuilder with ID sales and support into a single company.

2019

Specialization & Online Sales

Then, in 2019, we launched SecureID Badge Supplies as an online, retail-focused division to better serve our ID badging customers’ evolving needs.
